AS of CAP

This record is of a live recording at Carnegie Hall on the night of October 6, 1939. Swing was in full swing, and Glenn Miller was at the top of his game. This concert happened during a series of concerts to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). There was a week of consets beginning the night of Sunday, October 1. That was a looooooooong time ago. Sill sounds good. Happy Sunday.
