All the hot licks and tastey riffs to satisfy any Sunday morning. Super sensitive sound rhymes with orange, all day long. Catchy hooks bleed orange, well into the night.
have fun out there...
More of an audio diary than a review, or critique. Each post is a product of the whim of my Sunday morning.

All 80's Weekend
No record today my friends. All I got was the sound of a shitty car stereo blasting Kiss FM in the parking lot at 9 AM. It all started with Bananarama, Cruel Summer. Not bad if you've been up all night—I am still trying to add up all the coca that must have been on that breakfast plate.
My afternoon was spent busca la chuleta. No time for leisure today. Next week, next week...

The Character of Music
So much character is found in this EP which dates back to 1997. It is holding up quite nicely. Some super tastey remixes fill up the A side and two unadulterated gems on the B side. To be honest I pulled this record out on Friday, after not being listened to in many, many moons. When I sat down today to figure out what will grace the ear drums on this fine late summer Sunday I thought, nothing would be finer than another spin of this character in music. Quite a character indeed.

Diamonds in the Dune
Out of the blue
Just another line in the field of time
From Peru to Texarkana
In a long and hurried flight
As long as we can sail away
So much left undone
!! ! !
Got to get away
Into the black

Say Something Stupid Like 'It's Okay'
So simple yet, so complicated. Heart felt lyrics wrapped around tasty riffs and catchy hooks. So sensitive that when the amp is set to 7 it feels like 11. Feelings are complicated, it takes a lot of work to set things straight. I had to find mp3s online because this record is so sensitive that it got completely bent out of shape. No really, my record has a warp in it. So much so that I can't play the first two racks on side A. Thank god for the internet. Thank god for albums like this that happened when they did. It all made so much sense. Now, things are tricky because true simplicity is a thing of the past. I guess that is what makes nostalgia so great. Things are simple now for different reasons. If I had the chance I would do it all over again, exactly how it happened. Keep it simple stupid...
