Hold Me Closer Tony Danza

As a product of the 70s I heard this album countless times during the formative years. Embracing the dark side, EJ takes it deep. Classic cuts, tasty riffs, and sweet hooks are all over this 'glory years' masterpiece.

Happy Sunday

Not Huffin' and a Puffin'

Like the others do
Not the Big Bad Wolf
Just Little Boy Blue

Folk'n-a, just right for a Sunday morning...

Nope Nada Zilch

I didn't even listen to music today. I heard some music, involuntarily. I cleaned the house(boring)—kept the kid from emptying the records from the shelf—thought about picking one, and then left the house... for the whole day. Look again next week.

Cheers!

The 90's are Cool Again, Right?

Power pop punk to the rescue. Balanced by the delicate voices of Kim Warnick and Lulu Gargiulu, the glory days of guitar heavy chugga chugga are alive and well with the riffs of one Kurt Bloch. Of the 12-20 drummers that kept the beat, Mr. Mike Musburger is holding court nice and tight on the Fastbacks 1994 effort, Answer the Phone Dummy. A sonic roller coaster for this Sunday morning; wake up and smell the beer stains.

Of All Places

Live in Hobart, Tasmania; because it was there. On a tour in Australia, Fahey went over to Tasmania to record this album in vivo. Couldn't dream of listening to a better record on this super lazy Easter Sunday. Prime rib waiting on the kitchen counter, baseball is just around the corner. It is pretty great to be alive.

Bewitched and Bewildered

Andy Summers and Robert Fripp blissed out on synth. Side A sounds like the opening credits to every 80's boobie movie ever made. Side B is boiled down into a sweet synth reduction glaze. I can almost see the piles of coke through the jiggling mammaries amidst steam filled showers.

Thank you Stu for the gift of this tasty bit of  1984.

Let's Get Stupid, Four Ears

Two ears make four when split in two. Ear-splitting loud; that is the prescribed volume for listening to "A Mere Shadow and Reminiscence of Humanity" by Burmese.  Mind numbing rock and roll. More so just rock—not too much roll at all. Just one numb brain and four ears, that is all.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. Be safe, stay stupid.
